Since founding Media Mentor Paul has media trained over five thousand people throughout the UK. He brings more than 30 years of experience in television and radio journalism as a local and network TV reporter, business correspondent, news programme editor, current affairs producer, and network documentary producer to Media Mentor's training.
Paul was nominated for a BAFTA award for his Dispatches programme “The Truth Of Christmas Island” and won an RTS award for investigative journalism for “Aids Hits Home”. He then took the post of Head of Corporate Affairs at Scottish Television for two years.
In the late 1990s Paul spent five years as Director Of Broadcast with Countrywide Porter Novelli – one of the top four PR consultancies in the UK, and the biggest European-wide.

Martin Popplewell joined the BBC as a graduate trainee. He has presented the news on the BBC News Channel, Sky News, BBC World News and Five News. He’s also worked as a reporter for BBC One’s flagship political programme, On The Record and the religious show, Heaven & Earth. He’s reported for Radio 4’s PM, You & Yours and Radio Four News. He’s also written for The Times and The Guardian newspapers. Before joining the BBC, Martin worked as a researcher at the House of Commons. He also worked for Congressman Richard Gephardt in Washington D.C. and as a volunteer on President Bill Clinton’s election campaign.
Martin’s work has led him to interview key political leaders including the British Prime Ministers Theresa May, David Cameron, Gordon Brown and Tony Blair, and the US Vice-President Al Gore.
